Construction Milestone for Wolseley's New HQ

Completion of massive steelworks marks a milestone in the construction of Wolseley UK’s stunning new office headquarters at SpaPark, Leamington Spa.

The UK’s largest suppliers of building products, with brand names such as BuildCenter, PlumbCenter and PipeCenter in its stable, will occupy a highly prominent location on the Tachbrook Roadsite. The 63,250 sqft complex is scheduled for completion by July 2005.

The £10.9 million transaction for the 6 acre site between Wolseley, Stoford Developments and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers has been the largest out-of-town office deal within the West Midlands region this year and emphasises the continuing interest and importance of the prestigious and convenient location.

The remainder of the site is large enough to take up to a total of 113,000 sq ft of offices for which planning permission has been obtained, with the option for a further 18.45 acres for a potential warehouse development of 400,000 sqft.
