Gallagher Fires Solihull to Twickenham
Two second half tries from Stoford's Dan Gallagher in a 18-13 semi-final victory over North Bristol secured a first Twickenham appearance for Solihull in the Powergen Junior Vase.Solihull clinically despatched their West Country opponents in a game played in appalling conditions in front of a partisan crowd.
North Bristol led 6-3 before a try by Luke Smith took Solihull ahead for the first time just before the break. The Midlands outfit never looked back with Salisbury feeding Gallagher who smashed through the opposing winger and over the line. Ten minutes later Adam Irwin found Gallagher to touch down in the opposite corner.
Solihull will face Sheffield in the final on April 16th in the curtain-raiser to the Powergen Cup Final between Bath and Leeds Tykes
