Lichfield Park in for Planning

Stoford Developments with funding partner Liberty Property Trust, have submitted a planning application for the £28 million development of Lichfield Park. The development wil create up to 750 jobs.

An outline application is before Lichfield planners for the development of light industrial, office and distribution facilities on 30 acres.

Tony Nash, director said "We have received considerable interest in the scheme, even at this early stage from businesses keen to stay close to Lichfield, so we are confident it will prove to be a popular location. It also amounts to a £28 million private sector investment in the City with the benefit of new jobs for local people."

Subject to receiving a suitable planning consent the development would commence in mid 2007 with completion by 2010.
