Record Response to Stoford Challenge
A record number of contenders from the Midlands property market are set to go head to head in the seventh Stoford Challenge.
The popular event, organised by Stoford Developments, is being held at Outdoor Adventure just outside Bude on the rugged north Cornwall coast from May 13-15.
With applications flooding in at their highest-ever rate, the organisers are confident of attracting a maximum 20 teams that are as evenly balanced as possible between men and women.
Stoford director Dom Stokes said: “In the past, physically fit teams were able to pick up extra points by racing between venues and arriving early. So we’ve dropped that advantage and created a more even playing field by putting more emphasis on problem-solving and working efficiently as a team.”
The Stoford Challenge regularly attracts teams from the Midlands property market, especially those that have been working closely with or about to work closely with Stoford. EC Harris, Lambert Smith Hampton, Savills, Eversheds, King Sturge and Knight Frank are among firms that have signed up teams for the event.
Stoford’s own team (pictured right) will include Jilly Cosgrove, Julie Robinson and new recruits Matt Burgin and Nick Palmer.
