Regeneration Flagship for West Bromwich

A new multi-million flagship business quarter that will help regenerate West Bromwich came under the spotlight at MIPIM.

A planning application will be submitted this Spring for Phase One of the 10.8-acre All Saints site, which is being developed in the town centre by Sandwell MBC and Stoford Developments. Stoford has already secured the first major letting on the site with the pre-let of an office building of 142,000 sq ft to BT Liberata, which is scheduled to move in at Spring 2010.

All Saints will be capable of accommodating up to 300,000-sq ft of offices and mixed-use development including a new multi storey car park, generating more than £75 million of new investment for the town.

The development brief reflects the most highly thought of office schemes in the country.” Council leader Cllr Bill Thomas said: “All Saints will help transform Sandwell by creating new jobs and will also act as a catalyst for further development. I’m sure this prime business location will attract further high quality businesses into the Borough.” The All Saints vision is for a sustainable design incorporating a BREEAM ‘excellent’ standard.

Designed by Glenn Howells Architects, it will offer Grade A offices with a range of sizes and floor plates. The development is prominently located just off Junction 1 of the M5 motorway fronting the A41 Expressway but within walking distance of the town’s retail and leisure services.
