Star Choice for Smith & Nephew

Aurora, the design-led high quality industrial unit at the gateway to Spa Park, Leamington Spa has been let to leading global medical devices specialists Smith & Nephew as part of a significant investment in their UK Orthopaedics division.

The 30,000sq ft building will be used for storage and distribution of surgical implants and equipment.

Aurora was let at £5.50 per sq ft for 10 years, with a break at 7, by joint agent CBRE and NAI Fuller Peiser acting for Stoford Developments and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. CPM Consulting acted for Smith & Nephew on the acquisition and project management of this facility and their nearby office facility.

Marcus Sperber, Director of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers said: “The transaction completes occupation of the entire first phase of this prestigious,34 acre site. We are now well into the development of the adjacent 18 acres which includes Wolseley UK’s stunning new office headquarters and their 340,000sq ft national distribution centre.”
