Top Award for Gallagher

Stoford Developments director Dan Gallagher has been named ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at the Midlands Property Awards 2008.

He was presented with the coveted prize by TV celebrity Jimmy Carr at a glittering ceremony at Birmingham’s ICC on Tuesday evening (22nd July) attended by more than 1,000 members of the property community.

Dan, aged 30 who lives in Knowle, joined Stoford from Savills in 2003. In 2005 he led the largest office pre-let in the Midlands to Wolseley UK, and followed this up with the largest M42 office pre-let for 10 years for Lafarge Cement at the NEC.

Dan said “I am absolutely thrilled and very proud to have been chosen for such a prestigious award.”

Dan, who is a former professional rugby player was promoted to director with Stoford in 2006 and leads many of Birmingham based developers’ specialist office and warehouse schemes.
