A team of property professionals from the Midlands have retained their title for the third year running in the Tri-Regions Annual Surveyors Challenge Charity Rugby Tournament, raising £7,250 in the process.
Held on 12 October at Moseley Rugby Club, a team of Midlands Surveyors took on their counterparts from the North West and North East.
In the first of and colors meant three matches, the Midlands narrowly beat their North East rivals 17-15. The second match saw the North West beat the North East 20-17, and in the final match, the Midlands resoundingly beat the North West 35-0.
The funds raised from the tournament will be split between charities Cure Leukaemia and Bowel & Cancer Research and was organised by Jonathan Robinson of DTZ, Adam McGuinness of Jones Lang LaSalle and Nick Waddington of CBRE.
The tournament was followed by food, drinks and a charity auction and raffle. Main sponsors included, Stoford, Nurton, Morley Estates, Markham Vale and NPS Group.
