Following co-founder Chris Lea’s retirement late last year, remaining board directors and shareholders Jon Andrews, Dominic Stokes and David Brown decided to restructure the firm. The shake-up saw Dan Gallagher and Matt Burgin promoted to joint managing directors of the business.
Stokes says: “Dan and Matt will continue the core business for Stoford. Jon, Dave and I will support and mentor them and continue to develop the company’s strategy, bringing in new business going forward.”
Brown is primarily responsible for the South West region, while Andrews will assist the new MDs and help with the hand-over period.Stokes will also assist with day-to-day operations.
Stokes adds: “This is a freshen-up, a succession plan to put youth into our senior team. It’s also about recognising and rewarding talent.”
